Crisp Regional Hospital is proud to partner with the Georgia HEART Hospital Program, giving Georgia taxpayers an incredible opportunity to support our rural hospital while benefiting from a 100% state income tax credit. 

Your contribution helps us continue to provide essential healthcare services to our community, ensuring that every individual receives the care they need, right here at home. 

Through your support, we can enhance our hospital’s resources, expand our services, and continue to invest in the health of Crisp County and surrounding areas.

How the Georgia HEART Program Works

The Georgia HEART Program allows taxpayers to donate to qualified rural hospitals like Crisp Regional and receive a dollar-for-dollar tax credit. 

This means that your contribution comes at no net cost to you while making a significant impact on our hospital and community.

Here’s how to participate:

• Complete the HEART Tax Credit Form – Visit georgiaheart.org to fill out the form.
• Georgia HEART Submission – Georgia HEART will submit your pre-approval form to the Georgia Department of Revenue (DOR).
• Receive Approval – Once approved, you’ll receive an email with your tax credit amount.
• Make Your Contribution – Send your contribution to Crisp Regional Hospital’s designated account.
• File Your Tax Return – When tax season arrives, claim your 100% tax credit.

Contribution Limits for 2024

• Individual filers: Unlimited.
• Maried Filing Separately: Unlimited.
• Married couples filing jointly: Unlimited.
• S-corporation, LLC, or Partnership owners: Unlimited, but passthrough owner must have sufficient business income (K-1 and W-2) to support contribution.
• C Corporations, trusts, and other pass-through entities: Up to 75% of their Georgia income tax liability

Important Deadlines
