Quality healthcare saves lives. It is amazing what modern medicine can to do to restore life and health. It also requires new technologies and facilities on an ongoing basis. To continue meeting community needs, Crisp Regional Health System relies on the generosity of area residents to support our unwavering commitment to caring for the people of our region.

The Crisp Regional Hospital Development Foundation was created in the 1980s and continues to play a key role in mobilizing community support for new facilities, technologies, equipment, and services. As a 501(c)(3) not-for-profit organization, Crisp Regional Health Services invests your tax-deductible donations into critical and essential projects that ensure community access to quality healthcare.

Throughout the year, the Foundation hosts several events, including the annual Golf Tournament and Sponsor Appreciation Evening. Support from businesses and individuals helps fund essential new technologies and services, provide medical scholarships, support Crisp Regional Hospice, improve access to primary healthcare services in rural areas, and much more. The Foundation’s Board of Directors, comprised of local community leaders and members, determines how to best use funds to benefit the entire organization and community.

Giving Opportunities

Contributions to the Crisp Regional Development Foundation are made through outright gifts, tribute gifts, grants, named gifts, estate gifts, an employee giving program, and special events. A gift may be designated for a specific area of health care or the donation may be given for capital improvement or for the hospital’s area of greatest need.

WHAT IS THE FOUNDATION?

The Crisp Foundation is a very vital part of the medical community in Cordele. The Foundation was developed to provide medical scholarships, support the CRH Hospice program, improve access to primary healthcare in rural areas, and purchase needed hospital equipment. It has served as a key vehicle in accomplishing these tasks. Over the years, the CRH Development Foundation has supported more than 15 medical students, with four students presently in medical school and residency programs.

HOW DOES THE FOUNDATION RAISE FUNDS?

Throughout the year, the Foundation hosts several events, including the annual Golf Tournament and Sponsor Appreciation Evening. Tax-deductible donations from businesses and individuals help us meet our fundraising goals.
