Crisp Regional Pediatrics

Pediatrics focuses on the development, care and treatment of illness, injury and disease in babies, children, adolescents and/or young adults. A pediatrician provides preventive health maintenance for healthy children and medical care for children who are acutely or chronically ill. In collaboration with parents and other medical specialists, they help manage the physical, mental and emotional well being of patients, at every age and stage of development. Generally, care aims to:

  • foster healthy lifestyles
  • reduce infant and child mortality
  • control infectious disease
  • manage chronic conditions in children and adolescents

Your child’s pediatrician is also involved in the prevention, early detection and management of other issues affecting children and adolescents, including:

  • behavioral difficulties
  • developmental delays or disorders
  • functional problems
  • social stresses
  • depression or anxiety disorders

Crisp Regional offers a wide range of services for children, from infants to teens and young adults. Our specialists are experts in preventive care and immunizations, treatment of injuries and illness, as well as emergency and trauma.

Primary care services provided by our pediatricians include episodic care for acute symptoms, management of chronic disease and disease prevention services.

The offices of Crisp Regional Pediatrics in Cordele were recently renovated with the goal of enhancing the patient and parent experience. The renovation has facilitated patient visits, shortening wait times, and created two office waiting rooms: one for well-child visits and the other for those who may have a contagious illness. With four physicians who specialize in pediatrics, there is no shortage of patients or appointments.
