CRISP REGIONAL Urgent Care

About us

Often, urgent care is the most appropriate and efficient option for care for your illness or injury. It’s important to understand when you should visit your personal physician, when urgent care is appropriate, or when you should seek treatment in the hospital emergency department.

Crisp Regional Urgent Care provides quick, quality care on a walk-in basis or with an appointment for minor medical emergencies; accidents such as lacerations, burns, bruises, sprains, or broken bones; and illnesses like cold and flu. We see patients of all ages, beginning at six months old. We have on-site capabilities for X-rays, EKG, lab tests (blood work, etc.), and more. We also provide occupational medicine services by appointment, including pre-employment health screenings, employment physicals, DOT medical exams, and more.

While Urgent Care is always an option, your personal physician is often your best resource because he/she knows your overall health. Some physician offices now offer same-day appointments for care. A clinic is an option when appointments are unavailable or if you need treatment outside of office hours.

Any life- or limb-threatening illness or injury should always seek treatment at the Emergency Department (ED). Those suffering chest pain or symptoms of a stroke should call 911 and go directly to the ED. Pregnant women should seek care with their obstetrician or, if an emergency, go directly to the ED.

Who We Are
What we do
  • We provide quick, quality medical care to approximately 20 to 25 patients a day – almost twice that number during flu season.
  • Most are experiencing a minor medical emergency such as a laceration that requires sutures or worsening cold and flu symptoms. Others have suffered burns, bruises, sprains, or broken bones. Elderly patients often require blood pressure testing.
  • If we cannot provide full and appropriate care for a patient’s health concern or injury, we will refer him or her to a specialist. For example, if X-rays show that a bone is broken, we will refer the patient to an orthopedic surgeon located nearby.
  • In addition to X-ray equipment, we have on-site technology for EKG, pulmonary function testing, and other minor procedures, as well as a laboratory for blood and any other testing.
  • Occupational medicine services are provided here by appointment. Pre-employment health screenings, employment physicals, drug and alcohol screenings, return-to-work evaluations, and certified DOT medical exams can be performed at Crisp Regional Urgent Care by appointment, Monday through Friday. DOT exams are also available on Saturday by appointment. Entry for these services is at the back of the building.
