Gold Seal of Approval from The Joint Commission

Crisp Regional voluntarily underwent a thorough evaluation by The Joint Commission to see if our facility meets The Joint Commission’s rigorous performance standards in delivering quality, safe care. By meeting these standards, Crisp Regional received The Joint Commission Gold Seal of Approval – an internationally recognized symbol of quality.

ACHC Sleep Center Accreditation

Crisp Regional’s Sleep Center received accreditation in August 2015. Accreditation by the Accreditation Commission for Healthcare (ACHC) reflects an organization’s dedication and commitment to meeting national standards that facilitate a higher level of performance and patient care.

Level II in Perinatal Care

Crisp Regional has been verified as a Level II by The Joint Commission. This means that this center is a Regional Perinatal Health Care Center with the capability to care for the most complex maternal conditions and critically ill pregnant women and fetuses.

Focus on Perinatal Outcomes

Crisp Regional has increased focus on implementing quality improvement initiatives to advance clinical knowledge, drive patient safety and outcomes, and, more recently, to demonstrate their value to consumers and payors. Recent years have witnessed an emergence of perinatal collaboratives that aim to take a life-course approach to addressing risk factors that contribute to poor outcomes. GaPQC is unique in its integration of community-based organizations to enhance efforts to educate and engage families in the QI process.

Home Health Patient Satisfaction Award

Caresouth, an affiliate of Crisp Regional Hospital was presented the Home Health Patient Satisfaction Award for achieving an overall score that ranked in the top 20% of the SHP national HHCAHPS benchmark and scoring above the SHP national average for each HHCAHPS quality measure as measured from the patient’s point of view.

Providing High-quality Cardiovascular Care  

Crisp Regional Has received the American Heart Association Get With The Guidelines® and Mission: Lifeline® achievement awards for demonstrating commitment to following up-to-date, research-based guidelines for the treatment of heart disease and stroke, ultimately leading to more lives saved, shorter recovery times and fewer readmissions to the hospital. 

Every 40 seconds, someone in the U.S. has a stroke or heart attack, and heart disease and stroke are the No. 1 and No. 5 causes of death in the United States, respectively. Studies show patients can recover better when providers consistently follow treatment guidelines. 

 Get With The Guidelines and Mission: Lifeline put the expertise of the American Heart Association and American Stroke Association to work for hospitals nationwide, helping ensure patient care is aligned with the latest evidence- and research-based guidelines. As a participant in Mission: Lifeline and Get With The Guidelines programs, Crisp Regional qualified for the awards by demonstrating how their organization has committed to improving quality care.
