Meet the Physician: David Martini, MD, FACS

Crisp Regional Health is pleased to welcome David Martini, MD, FACS, a board-certified Otolaryngologist and Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgeon who joined the medical staff in early 2026. Dr. Martini brings nearly three decades of experience in the diagnosis and treatment of conditions affecting the face, ear, nose, and throat, expanding access to advanced Ear, Nose, and Throat, and Facial Plastic Surgical care for patients throughout the western, southern, and central region of Georgia.

Dr. Martini earned his medical degree from Hahnemann University College of Medicine (now Drexel University College of Medicine) in Pennsylvania and completed his residency in Ear, Nose, and Throat at Kings County Hospital/State University of New York, where he served as Chief Resident. Following residency, he pursued advanced fellowship training in Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery through the American Academy of Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery in St. Louis, MO, further refining his expertise in complex nasal, facial, and reconstructive procedures.

He is board certified in both Otolaryngology and Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery, credentials that reflect his advanced training and commitment to excellence in patient care.  During his training and through practice experience he treats a broad range of Ear, Nose, and Throat problems.

Dr. Martini was drawn to his profession because of the techniques available to deliver meaningful improvements in a patient’s quality of life and offer treatments to correct the root cause of the problem.

“My training and experience empower me to address very real problems that affect how people breathe, hear, and function every day, and alleviate ongoing discomfort,” Dr. Martini said. “It’s meaningful to help patients find relief and see tangible improvement.”

His Facial Plastic Surgical fellowship training and surgical experience allow him to address particularly complex cases involving nasal breathing disorders caused by chronic conditions, injuries, or prior surgeries that require further correction. Excessive eyelid skin causing obstruction of vision is often medically necessary and covered by insurance. Patients will often address appearance issues while undergoing medically necessary surgery.  This may include rhinoplasty, eyelid lift[blepharoplasty], neck contouring, and brow/face lift. Reconstructive challenges posed by skin cancer that compromise structure, function, and appearance can also be addressed.

Through his practice at Crisp Regional, Dr. Martini offers a wide range of services, including:

  • Treatment of sinus disease
  • Treatment of septal deviation and other nasal breathing issues
  • Treatment of Nasal fractures and External nasal deformities
  • Nasal airway procedures
  • Skin cancer reconstruction
  • Rhinoplasty, Blepharoplasty, neck contouring
  • Tonsillectomy, Ear tube placement
  • Sleep Apnea
  • Ear, Nose and Throat disorders

Dr. Martini emphasizes a patient-centered approach focused on understanding each patient’s concerns and developing a treatment plan that restores both comfort and function.

“When patients come to my office, the priority is identifying the issue that is affecting their quality of life and working together to resolve it,” he said.

Prior to joining Crisp Regional Medical Center, Dr. Martini is no stranger to South Georgia. Before this position he practiced for many years in Douglas, Georgia, and says he is pleased to remain in the region.

Outside of the clinic, Dr. Martini enjoys spending time at Lake Blackshear, golfing, cycling, and taking advantage of the outdoor opportunities the region offers.

He is enthusiastic about Crisp Regional’s commitment to organization, teamwork, and patient care, and this played an important role in his decision to join the health system.

“Crisp Regional is a very well-run organization,” Dr. Martini said. “There is a strong focus on patient care, and the hospital provides physicians with the resources, equipment, and support needed to deliver excellent care. That kind of environment makes a real difference.”

Crisp Regional is proud to welcome Dr. Martini and looks forward to the continued expansion of ENT services for patients across Crisp County and the surrounding communities.
